Kidproof was formed in 2000 by Samantha Wilson, a former police officer and internationally recognized expert in child and family safety. As a cop, Samantha received fantastic, informative, cutting edge child safety information that was only being shared by law enforcement and other helping agencies. The information was not "top secret" but had no way of reaching those who needed it most - the kids. So she formed Kidproof to do just that.
"We were formed for one reason, to help raise child safety awareness by empowering children and parents with knowledge that they can draw from in case of an emergency or dangerous situation."
What started as a small community service in London, Ontario, Canada, Kidproof has grown to have international reach and is a driving force in proactive and preventative child safety education from coast to coast. With a steady growth rate, our team continues to develop programs, seminars and services that enrich and empower families - and ultimately keep kids safe.
The recent launch of Kidproof Franchise has allowed us tap into exceptional individuals that are as committed to our mission as we are. Now, individual Kidproof Businesses can train and deliver our exclusive programs directly to their communities - anytime.

Kidproof spans across North America, with offices in the east and west, we employ over 200 Certified Instructors and regular staff that are the most fantastic, committed and talented individuals on the planet.

2009 was an amazing year for Kidproof. We experienced unprecedented growth, were recognized by prestigious awards and developed new initiatives that will change our direction as we move forward and into the future.

2010
The year began with a bang as we moved full speed ahead with the Kidproof Franchise program. Within 10 short months, and over 600 applications, we have awarded almost 70% of available territories in Canada to some of the most fantastic people imaginable! We are delighted at the future outlook for all of the kids in Ontario with these amazing people positioned in communities from coast to coast.
KidsEat Culinary
KidsEat Culinary™ skyrocketed as one of the foremost healthy meal providers in the lower mainland of British Columbia in 2009 and with the increase in demand we focused on finding the right "foodie" partner to help us take it to the next level. You see, when we created KidsEat! Culinary™, it was our goal to offer healthy, delicious and affordable lunches to elementary schools. We went over and above and enlisted the expertise of a top nutritionist to ensure our menu was healthy and nutritious. And now, we are excited to announce that as of January 1, 2010, Creekside Custom Foods (better known as Bread Garden) will head up and grow this incredible brand.

It is a little known fact that Kidproof has a publishing division that publishes over 30,000 books each year. Our media division has continued to grow and develop books, products, and materials that support our exclusive programs.
We continue to upgrade our technology and internet presence by launching our new Kidproof Global Website that includes social networking, blogs, polls and videos on our new Kidproof TV Channel. We believe that everyone benefits by sharing and communicating each others’ fears, concerns and ideas.
