Two students were shot and suffered non life-threatening injuries after a man walked into a Colorado middle school and opened fire, according to police reports. One student was shot inside the school, and the other outside of it, reports a Jefferson County Sheriff's Office spokesperson.






Apple has pulled a number of adult applications from iTunes this week, after complaints from parents that kids were downloading apps like 'Naughty Trivia' and 'Private Dancer.' iTunes has millions of applications that can be downloaded onto iPhones or iPods by anyone with an iTunes account, and many are free.
Doctors want food manufacturers to redesign foods like the all-American hot dog to prevent choking deaths in kids. They singled out the hot dog because it's responsible for nearly one in five food-related choking deaths among kids. In a 41-state study, hot dogs accounted for 17 percent of food-related asphyxiations among kids under 10.
A nine-year-old Florida boy was seriously injured yesterday after a grenade went off in his hand. The child's mother, Ann Marie Weise, told 911 that her son had gotten hold of an explosive device. When police and emergency crews arrived at the house in Lakeland, they saw smoke coming from the home.
