More than half of teenagers display information about sexual behaviour or substance abuse on their MySpace accounts, according to new research. Dr. Dimitri Christakis of Seattle Children's Research Institute looked at 500 randomly chosen MySpace profiles of 18-year-olds in 2007. Here are the results:






Teens who are addicted to the Internet are more likely than non-addicted adolescents to self-injure, a new study shows. Researchers in China surveyed 1,618 youths between the ages of 13 and 18 on self-injurious behaviours like burning, cutting or hitting themselves, and gave participants a test to indicate if they were addicted to the Internet.
If you log onto the webcam site Chatroulette.com, you might see an impromptu comedy performance, a celebrity, or a naked man sitting in front of a webcam. Brad Stone of the New York Times wrote an article on Chatroulette that said about 10 percent of the videos on the site are from naked males in front of webcams.
Three high school students in Newburyport, Massachusetts, have been charged with identity theft after allegedly bullying a classmate using Facebook. The three students, all 14, allegedly stole the student's identity by creating a Facebook page using his name and photo.
